Ecopress compactors will be used not only on ground but also on the ships.

On competition basis Ecopress signed up an order with the Port of Tallinn for delivery of waste collection equipment. Under the state supply mobile compactors volume 14 – 16 m³ and hooklift containers volume 15 – 35 m³ will be produced. Compactors for use in port area will be equipped with binlift systems. Special compactors, designed for use on the ships, cruising between Estonia and Sweden or Estonia – Finland will be produced with some important modifications. Leakproof compactors will be equipped with extra side rolls enabling to move compactor left- and rightwards; photosensor inside the filling chamber, activating pressing immediately after waste got into the chamber; two types of electric sockets – for 16A and 32A, enabling to use compactor in different conditions.
